About Nylon 6 & Nylon 66 & Nylon-MXD6

 

Type Properties & Uses
Nylon 6 (PA6) It is a translucent or opaque opalescent resin with superior mechanical properties, stiffness, toughness, wear resistance and mechanical shock absorption, good insulation and chemical resistance. Widely used in many fields such as automotive parts, electronic and electrical zero. 
Nylon 66 (PA66) Compared with nylon 6, its mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance, better creep resistance, but impact strength and mechanical shock absorption properties decreased. It has a wide range of applications in automobiles, drones, electronics and electrical.
Nylon-MXD6 Although the barrier property of nylon MXD6 is a little worse than pvdc and evoh, its barrier property is not affected by temperature and humidity, which is especially suitable for high temperature and humid occasions. Dimensional stability, low water absorption and small dimensional change after water absorption, less change in mechanical strength; shrinkage after mechanical processing is very small, suitable for precision molding process.
